Water reservoirs require commissioning in accordance with AWWA C652‑19 standards when first installed, followed by routine cleaning and maintenance once in service. Because tank entry involves confined spaces, all work must be performed by personnel trained and certified in Confined Space Procedures and equipped with potable‑water‑approved gear.
